On Saturday, April 27, a phenomenal documentary about the state of international adoption is coming to Indianapolis. For those of you outside Indy, keep reading.
This is a great way that you can be part of changing the broken system of international adoption. The average international adoption takes almost 3 years and costs around $28,000. All the while, there are as many as 210 million children in the world who don’t have families–and this number is growing. Here are 2 ways you can get involved to change these numbers.
- Sign the Petition. We believe every child has a right to a permanent and loving family. One objective while STUCK is on the road is to gather over 1 million petition signatures asking congress/global leaders/President Obama to take specific actions to change the landscape of adoption. The petition will be hand carried to members of Congress in the Step Forward for Orphans March in Washington, D.C., which will coincide, with the last day of the bus tour, tentatively scheduled for May 17. Do you believe that every child has a right to a permanent and loving family? If so, please sign your name on this petition.
- Buy a ticket to see STUCK. I (Curtis) am part of the promotional team to get as many people to see this film as possible. Right now, the only showing in Indy is on Saturday, April 27 at 7:00 p.m. at the AMC Castleton 14. If enough people buy tickets soon, we can have another showing earlier in the day. You won’t regret seeing this film. Click here to buy a ticket and watch the trailer below (For people outside the Indy area, click the link to see when STUCK is coming your way. There are OKC and Chicago showings coming up.)
Please get involved by signing the petition and buying a ticket. Your voice can make a difference by speaking up for those who can’t speak up for themselves. Call me naive, but I believe we can change this broken system. It’s gonna take all of us.

THANK you for sharing this!! The entire STUCK team is thankful!
